SBI PO Interview Process 2019

A candidate who clears both the Prelims & Mains Exam of SBI PO 2018 will be further called for a GD-PI session wherein they will face a panel of selectors discussing on their past experience and questions related to General Knowledge and of the Banking Sector. It is essential for a candidate to clear the Interview Process in order to ensure their final selection in the SBI PO 2018 Exam. The qualifying marks for this round will be decided by the Bank and the marks allotted to these rounds are: Group Discussion – 20 marks, Interview – 30 marks

Before you dig inside the SBI PO Exam syllabus, remember a few important things

  1. Sectional Cut Off: There is sectional cut off in the SBI PO exam, this means you have to pass all the sections individually, and must also secure the minimum marks in each section. Along with this, you should also score the Minimum aggregate marks, as decided by the bank, to be shortlisted for Interview.
  2.  Negative Marking: Unlike the SSC CGL Exam, In SBI PO exam, there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. So attempt only those questions, for which you are sure.

1) Last 6 months Current Affairs: The major part of this section, comprises of Current affairs questions of Last 6 months viz Appointments, Resignations, Obituaries, Person in News, Places in News, Committees etc.

2) Static Gk Questions: These questions may be asked from Counties, Currencies, Capitals, UNO, SAARC etc.

If you study well, then this section will be the turning point as this section is less time to consume and at the same time high scoring too.
